HERMANUS 2007-2010

Besides the fresh sea air, the mountains, the jumping whales, the award winning wine estates,  Hermanus has something new to offer the casual visitor: a cool, chic, spontaneous, cutting edge, one-of-a-kind modern art gallery dedicated to the creative ideas of Tay's latest artworks!

The Tay Modern Hermanus opened its doors in September 2007 to 250 guests who drank, ate, danced and viewed Tay's latest artworks into the early morning of the next day.  It was a remarkable event and a first in Tay's career in that at last, here was a space where she, as an artist,  could be free to  be exclusive to herself and her work. 

Exhibitions So Far
"Nebula Series" ......an explosive ensamble of texture and colour .
"Atoms and Flight" ......an appreciation of enamel
"The Greatest Hits" ......an unique collection of styles and genres spanning 20 years of the artist's career.
