a new exhibition

big bang, stars, molten rock, heart beat, eyes, reflections, lightning, electricity, steel, glass, diamonds, love, war, 1’s and 0’s, city lights, fire flies, ideas, thoughts….

my ideas and thoughts live through my art.

an idea, an imaginative moment in time, a hand movement, a random dip of the brush into a palette of paint and that is the spark; the beginnings and the points in-between the beginnings. It’s a far-out conjecture of how things have come to be and where they may go, which leaves me a lot of mental room to question the very nature of our reality and of the universe as a whole…. 

my best thinking is done through painting.

the spark! series is a body of work that culminates a style of fluid vibrant motion, the melding of tone and colour,  a dissipation of form and light, the capturing of energy, an energy of beginnings where a momentary flash is about to ignite and go bang! It is an interpretation of a moment in the making of time itself….
